Remington Supports Special Olympics with Sponsorship, Employee Volunteerism
Rain didn’t dampen spirits at this year’s Special Olympics Summer Games in Searcy, Arkansas, it only made the experience more memorable.
Jackie Wiles, Maintenance Crew Chief at Remington, volunteered alongside her daughters at the 2026 Special Olympics Summer Games at Harding University in late May.
Their volunteer efforts were a natural extension of Remington’s broader commitment as a sponsor of the 2026 Summer Games, helping make the event possible for athletes across the state. Together, the volunteering and company support helped bring the event to life and ensured athletes had the opportunity to compete, connect and celebrate their achievements.
Despite steady rain that drenched athletes, spectators and volunteers, the energy, enthusiasm and determination never wavered, reflecting the celebratory spirit that defines the Special Olympics.
For Jackie, the experience was also about sharing the value of service with her family.
“I always enjoy volunteering for this event,” Jackie said. “It is rewarding and humbling to be a small part of celebrating so many great athletes, seeing the smiles on their faces. This year was extra special because I got to share it with my daughters!”
Thank you to Jackie and her daughters for giving back and helping support such a meaningful statewide event!
