The holidays are a time for giving. At The Kinetic Group, that means coming together to impact our communities.
Across our brands, employees found meaningful ways to spread kindness and brighten spirits. From supporting local families and seniors to sending heartfelt messages to deployed soldiers, our teams showed what the season of giving is all about.
Here’s a look at the meaningful ways we stepped up this year.
Festival of Trees
CCI/Speer has long supported the Tri-State Foundation, but their 2025 contribution took a new twist. Instead of decorating a tree for the Festival of Trees event, the team donated a live auction experience – a plant tour for three – which raised $1,200. The facilities team also crafted a custom firepit for the cause, and the brand contributed three trees for the silent auction. Thanks to efforts like these, the Tri-State Foundation’s event set a record, raising $1 million, including a $250K paddle raise and an incredible $420K bidding war on a single tree!
Granny’s Closet
Federal is collecting new clothing, bedding, toiletries, and household items – as well as gently used coats – to support seniors in need. These donations benefit Granny’s Closet, an organization serving senior citizens and adults with disabilities in the Anoka and Sherburne County areas.
Angel Tree Program
Remington continued its annual tradition of adopting 10 children through the Lonoke Christmas Coalition Angel Tree Program, a community initiative that provides toys and clothing to children in need. Across the plant, operation areas and support teams each receive an “angel,” ensuring employees from every department can take part in making the holidays brighter.
CCI/Speer’s Children’s Christmas Giving Project
CCI/Speer’s ACE Team raises funds year-round to give the children of employees—about 630 kids—a special holiday treat. Each child receives a $6 coupon from a local vendor, along with a note from Santa, a coloring page, and a self-addressed stamped envelope. Kids are encouraged to return their artwork to be displayed in the plant’s lunchrooms. This year’s coupon was for a local coffee shop, where kids could enjoy a cookie, hot chocolate or other treat up to $6.
Toys for Joy & Toys for Tots
Federal is collecting new toys and gifts to brighten the holidays for families in need across Anoka County. Meanwhile, in Lewiston, CCI/Speer is supporting the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program by gathering toys in the weeks leading up to Christmas. Together, these efforts help bring joy to children during the season of giving.
Holiday Cards for Soldiers
For the second year, TKG employees were invited to write heartfelt holiday messages to deployed service members. This year, employees sent 425 handwritten cards USASOA for distribution.
ACBC & Hope for Community
Federal proudly supports two local food shelves, ACBC and Hope for the Community, helping ensure families have meals during the holidays. In the days leading up to Thanksgiving, several Federal teams joined ACBC’s Thanksgiving Meal Packing Event, assembling meal kits for more than 1,200 households. ACBC, based in Anoka, is a valued community partner, and supporting their efforts reflects The Kinetic Group’s commitment to making a positive local impact.
Turkey and Ham Giveaways
CCI/Speer hosted its 5th annual turkey and ham handout with the largest turnout yet with 500 hams and an estimated 400 turkeys ready to go. The team also donated 75 turkeys to the Salvation Army the day before to support their family dinner boxes. Federal continued its tradition of distributing turkeys to employees as a token of appreciation. Surplus turkeys found a meaningful purpose, getting delivered to Haven for Heroes in Anoka, multiple military units, and Beyond the Yellow Ribbon organizations across Anoka County, Cottage Grove, the Mississippi Valley, and Hugo. These efforts reflect the shared commitment to giving back and supporting both local families and military communities during the holiday season.
